Website information is general information
Information on this website is provided for general information about the clinic, our practitioners and the services offered. It is not intended to provide an individual diagnosis, medical opinion or emergency advice and should not be treated as a substitute for an appropriate clinical assessment.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, please use the appropriate emergency or urgent healthcare service rather than relying on this website or a website enquiry.
Appointments and bookings
An appointment request is not guaranteed until it has been accepted or confirmed by the clinic. We may need additional information before deciding which practitioner, service or appointment type is appropriate.
The clinic may decline, postpone, rearrange or discontinue an appointment where reasonably necessary for clinical, safety, staffing or operational reasons. If we need to change an appointment, we will aim to give as much notice as reasonably practicable.
Fees, deposits and cancellations
Current appointment prices, deposits, reduced-fee information, cancellation requirements and missed-appointment charges are published on our Fees page.
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Where the required notice is not provided, the applicable missed-appointment fee may be charged.
Initial consultation fees or deposits are payable as stated at the time of booking and on our Fees page. Where the clinic cancels a paid appointment and cannot provide the booked service or an agreed alternative, any amount paid for the unprovided service will be dealt with appropriately, including refund or credit where required.
Arriving late
If you arrive late, the practitioner may need to shorten or rearrange the appointment to avoid affecting other patients. Where an appointment cannot reasonably proceed because of late arrival, the clinic may treat it as a missed appointment depending on the circumstances.
Clinical suitability and consent
Booking an appointment does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be provided. The practitioner must first consider whether the requested service or treatment is appropriate and within their professional scope. Treatment will only proceed following appropriate assessment and consent.
Please see Patient Information & Your Rights for more information about consent, chaperones, safeguarding and accessibility.
Information you provide
Please provide information that is accurate and relevant to your care and tell your practitioner about material changes to your health, medication, pregnancy, symptoms or other circumstances that may affect treatment. The practitioner will decide what information is clinically relevant.
Children and young people
Bookings for children and young people are subject to appropriate consent, safeguarding and clinical arrangements. The clinic may ask for information about parental responsibility or request that a suitable adult is present where appropriate.
Links and third-party services
Our website may link to external websites or use third-party services. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse all content or services provided by that third party. Third-party websites operate under their own terms and privacy arrangements.
Privacy and cookies
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Information about website cookies is available in our Cookie Policy.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with an aspect of your care or experience, please see our Complaints Procedure. Formal complaints should be directed to practicemanager@kingslynncc.com.
